 works for iphone, not for samsung infuse Jun 08, 2012

reading the 2 negative reviews, I am not sure what they think the stand should do, fly? create world peace?
I bought this for SIL to facetime with her sister (okay and truthfully to make the $ amount for free shipping on a gift for my mom). Sure the first time I set the iphone in it fell over, but I did not make sure it was seated well, after that works just fine in both landscape and portrait positions with the slim case she has on hers.
Yes, I know the description of this product says for iphone, but I included the samsung infuse in my review title, just as an FYI as I have one and I have found with it's slim design many iphone products work just fine on it, but alas it is to heavy for this little stand.

I was not sure by the picture, but this is small yet fantastic stand you can get. It is in Plastic, so it will not spoil your phone, unlike other metal ones.

I purchased this product because it was small and portable. However, my Iphone 4s falls right over in landscape and portrait mode. I have tried it multiple times with the case on and off. Not sure what I am doing wrong........

I bought this for my iPhone 4. Initially I didn't think it would work as it fell over no matter how I placed it on the stand. Then I took off the case and it works fine. It would be ideal to not have to take the case off to use... but for $3.00... I can deal with it.

I wanted something to hold my fire while watching movies on the plane, and for me this works well since I wanted it to be as small as possible.
It stands a little more straight up than the phone does in the pictures, but is stable in landscape mode and can hold it in portrait but its not very stable.
Keep in mind that there is no tilt adjustment and if you are using a case this stand will fit different or possibly not work at all.
